Whilst each day at Greenwood is a new and exciting adventure there are some familiar experiences that the children encounter everyday. Here is a guide as to what your child can expect each day in the Early Learners room…
7am – Greenwood Opens
Good morning! We hope you are ready for an action packed day of discovery and learning with your friends and Educators!
As Parents enter each of our Centres you will find our iPad Kiosks for you to sign your children in and out. On your first day we will help you to set your secure password and show you how to use this system.
7:30am – Breakfast is served!
Time for our little early-birds enjoy their breakfast! If your child arrives before 8am please let our staff know that they need breakfast and this will be arranged for your child.
Play and Learn Inside and Outside
If your Centre has more than one Early Learners room, these rooms will host combined activities until 9am. Rooms and playgrounds are set up by our Educators each day to encourage exploration.
8am – Bathrooms, Washing Hands and Nappy Change (if required)
Bathrooms are provided adjacent to each room and are accessible when required, facilities are also provided to wash hands before every meal and for use after craft activities.
Your Room Leader will schedule nappy change times to occur frequently throughout the day. If your child is in nappies our Educators will also check to see if they need changing in between these times.
9am – Time for Morning Tea
Combined rooms break into their individual classrooms and begin their day by sharing Morning Tea together.
9:30am – Group Time
Introducing elements of the Greenwood Curriculum, Group Time gives the children an opportunity to learn and to experience as a large group before breaking into smaller groups.
11:00am – Lunch
A hot lunch is served every day for the children to enjoy and is prepared fresh by our on-site Chef.
