On Saturday the 17th of November, we held our much-anticipated Grand Opening Day at Greenwood Artarmon!
Read on to find out about how we celebrated the opening of our brand new, three-storey purpose built centre.
Activities on the Day
Here at Greenwood Artarmon, we were very lucky to have the one and only Sam Moran join us on the day. He came along for not one, not two, but three shows!
In addition to this, the children also had a chance to meet and take photos with their hero!
Symbio Wildlife came in to teach the children about all the beautiful creatures that they brought along. This included a possum, echidna and a large snake to name a few!
The incredibly talented balloon artist Matt Falloon also joined us to create some amazing balloon sculptures that the children were in awe of.
But the activities didn’t end there. We had face painters as well as Bike & Blend stations to keep the children entertained all day long!
Gourmet sausages were also served throughout the day to ensure that no one left our centre hungry.
We were also very lucky to have special guest MP Trent Zimmerman, Federal Member for North Sydney come along for our grand Opening. Thank you Mr. Zimmerman for joining us and saying some wonderful things about our centre!
At Greenwood Artarmon, we are passionate about education and giving your child the best start to their early learning journey.
From in-room art demonstrations to large outdoor play spaces, there is something for every child.
Our Neopost whiteboards encourage collaborative learning between children and educators, allowing us to integrate technology into learning experiences.
The children loved exploring our Greenwood Cubby house and taking in the cityscape views. Our play environments are not only designed to meet the developing needs of every child, but they are also built for all weather conditions.
One of our friendly educators will be delighted to show you around.
We thoroughly appreciate the support we received from the local community at our Grand Opening event!
In Centre Manager Venita Rutley’s words “Having a team as passionate as I am means that we are working together to provide a high-quality nurturing environment, supporting each other and caring for our families”.
