Greenwood Dural’s Grand Open Day!

On Saturday the 16th of February, we held our much-anticipated Grand Opening Day at Greenwood Dural!

Read on to find out about how we celebrated the opening of our brand-new centre with its spacious outdoor area.

Activities on the Day

Here at Greenwood Dural, we were very lucky to have DirtGirlWorld to join us on the day. She came along for not one, not two, but three shows!

Symbio Wildlife came in to teach the children about all the beautiful creatures that they brought along. This included a possum, tawny frogmouth owl, snakes and lizards to name a few!

The incredibly talented Internationally acclaimed balloon artist Matt Falloon also joined us. He created some amazing balloon sculptures that the children were in awe of!

But the activities didn’t end there. We had face painters and Bike n’ Blend stations to keep the children entertained all day long!

A Greenwood Sample Menu was also served throughout the day to, ensure that no one left our centre hungry. Families loved being able to get a taste of what their children would eat when enrolled.

We were very lucky to have special guest the Honourable MP Julian Lesser, Federal Member for Berowra come along for our Grand Opening. Thank you Mr. Lesser, for officially opening our centre and saying some wonderful things in your speech!

Learning Environments

At Greenwood Dural, we are passionate about education and giving your child the best start to their early learning journey.

From in-room demonstrations to large outdoor play spaces, there is something for every child.

Our science and technology area allowed children to enjoy 3D printed creations that were made themselves! In addition to this, our interactive sandpit experience enabled children to explore as they delved deeper into different scenes and scenarios depending on how they moved the sand.

Our Neopost whiteboards encourage collaborative learning between children and educators, allowing us to integrate technology into learning experiences.
