Greenwood Scoresby’s Grand Opening Celebration

On Saturday the 6th of October, Greenwood Scoresby officially opened its doors to all our wonderful families with an epic celebration.

Families had the chance to meet our lovely educators, enjoy free food and coffee, while learning more about what the centre has to offer.

Read on for a quick recap on some of the highlights of the day.

Meet & Greet with the Trolls

The children were treated to a very special appearance from Poppy and Branch, from the Dreamworks’ blockbuster movie Trolls.

Two main performances took place on the day, followed by a memorable meet and greet session.

Ribbon- Cutting Ceremony

To inaugurate the opening of our latest state-of-the-art centre, we were honoured to be joined by State Member for Rowville District, Kim Wells.

In his words, “Knox a growing area and it is fantastic to have a new early learning centre opening locally. Parents know how important pre-school years are to prepare young children for school.  This centre affords parents more access to early-learning programs, to ensure their children have a great start in their education.”

Another attraction on the day that proved to be immensely popular was a visit from WildAction. The team at WildAction joined us on stage for a 20 minute talk about the various animals that they brought in.

Following this was most exciting part, the opportunity for children to get on stage and interact with the animals! The children absolutely loved holding the reptiles and touching other furry friends under the guidance of the professionals at WildAction.

Missed Out?

If you were unable to attend our opening celebration, there’s no need to worry! We would love to show you around our beautiful centre with a personalised tour.

So give us a call to book in a tour, or simply pop in at a time that is convinient to you. We hope to see you and your child very soon at Greenwood Scoresby!
