We’re so excited about our brand-new centre, Greenwood Mulgrave, which opened this week.
And while all Greenwood centres are filled with highly qualified and nurturing educators, the team at Mulgrave have some incredible achievements between them – including four Masters’ degrees and two Bachelors’ degrees, to name just a few!
Keep reading to meet some of the educators that are settling into their beautiful centre, and hear all about why they’re so eager to kick off a journey of learning and play with the children enrolled.
Centre Manager: Molly
With a master’s degree in English literature and Philosophy, and having worked in child care since 2012, Molly is passionate about providing the highest quality of care at her centre.
Molly says: “The first 1000 days of a child’s life are crucial for learning and development. To inspire a love of learning, we’re dedicated to providing a home-like, natural, carefully thought-out environment that can guide the children’s learning. I welcome you to drop into our centre to see everything we have to offer and to meet our dedicated team.”
Assistant Educator: Ellie
Ellie has a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and has been working in child care since 2017.
Ellie says: “I’m so excited about Global Kids, the program we’re introducing to instruct children in Spanish. Thanks to us being in a wonderfully multicultural area, so many children in the centre are already bilingual. We love the opportunity to add a language to a child’s vocabulary along with the Tamil, Urdu, Mandarin and Vietnamese they may already know.”
Early Childhood Teacher: Muditha
Muditha holds a Bachelor in Early Education and has been working in child care since 2010.
Muditha says: “Has anyone mentioned the play area? Because it’s incredible. We have 1000 square metres of indoor/outdoor space for play, with a vegetable garden, rainbow bike tracks, water play areas and cubby houses. We also offer up yoga along with a multi-sport program through Ready Steady Go Kids.”
Antonella has a degree in hospitality and has been working as a chef since 1991.
Antonella says: “It’s so exciting to see such a vibrant centre with so much for the children to explore and learn. With that in mind, it’s important to me that I prepare nutritious meals to help nurture their growing bodies and help educate them about making healthy food choices!”
The Greenwood Mulgrave team can’t wait to meet you and your family.
