Greenwood Concord

See where the extraordinary happens at Greenwood Concord. Our modern child care and early learning centre is ideally located for families living or commuting through Concord, Concord West, North Strathfield, Homebush and Liberty Grove.

Our child care centre is located nearby public transport within walking distance to Concord West train station, bus stops and schools.

As soon as you step foot in our centre, you’ll be immersed in a world where children are encouraged to explore, learn and grow. Your little one will enjoy discovering our spacious outdoor environments which include a jumping pillow, sandpits, slides and a vegetable garden.

Children are provided time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoors to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence. Being outside supports children’s overall health and wellbeing.

Our indoor spaces invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children wonder, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our centre is built around the outdoor environment offering a completely secured yard. We also have a library in the foyer where the families can borrow and return books daily.

Our open-plan kitchen is at the centre of everything we do. Healthy meals and snacks are created daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements. We offer a family pantry in the foyer which changes regularly, offering breakfast and snack options including biscuits, porridge, fruit and more.

Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices. Let us treat you to coffee and a snack as part of your morning routine.

Your child will have access to a rotating schedule of engaging specialised programs including sports, yoga, music and a language program to develop fundamental skills. These fun and engaging programs enhance the daily program.

We present educational children’s shows and welcome special guests including dentists, eyesight and hearing test specialists, community services including police, fire, ambulance to extend on the children’s learning. Neighbourhood connections support a sense of community and belonging for children and provide opportunities to develop social and observational skills with different people, places, and environments.

We hold regular events throughout the year where families are invited to attend and spend time with the children and educators – Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, end of year celebrations, graduation, etc. As well as celebration based on our current family and educator cultures – St Patrick’s day, Diwali and Chinese New Year.

As members of our Greenwood community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
