Meet the Centre Manager - Greenwood Mulgrave
"I passionately believe we have a responsibility to provide the highest quality of care and education and to develop a culture of collaboration and belonging between children, educators, families and the community "
I hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care and I have been working in child care and early education since 2012. As I migrated to Australia after completing my Masters in Philosophy, the early education and care sector particularly fascinated me for the positive impact early childhood intervention has on children’s emotional and behavioral wellbeing which directs their life outcomes. I am passionate about my role and am proud to be leading the team at Greenwood Mulgrave.
I passionately believe we have a responsibility to provide the highest quality of care and education and to develop a culture of collaboration and belonging between children, educators, families and the community at large. To achieve this, we must provide a home-like, natural, carefully thought-out environment that can guide and extend on the children’s learning.
Greenwood Early Education Centres has extensive policy and procedures in place to assist our team in protecting children in our care.
My team is guided by the values of respect, compassion and care and are committed to providing every child with opportunities of exploration, creativity, and play- based learning. We are fortunate to have a long serving, multicultural and multilingual team who reflect our local community.
Through careful observation, listening and scaffolding our Educators help children build the social-emotional, language and thinking skills they need in their life’s journey. Children at Greenwood Mulgrave are encouraged to explore, discover, experience, and above-all have fun.
I welcome you to drop into Greenwood Mulgrave to see everything we have to offer and to meet our dedicated team of educators and our chef.
