See where the extraordinary happens every day at Greenwood Mulgrave. Our early education and child care centre in Mulgrave is ideally located for families in living or commuting through Clayton, Mulgrave, Springvale, Dandenong, Noble Park North and Rowville. We’re located just off of Springvale Road on the corner of Miles Street and Peters Ave in a shared business complex.
From the moment you walk into our daycare centre, you’ll enter a world where children are encouraged to explore and learn. Children love venturing out in our all-weather play areas which span over 1000 sqm and include cubby houses, sandpits, vegetable gardens, rainbow bike tracks and more to engage all the senses.
Children are provided time and space for uninterrupted play as they test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence. Being outside supports children’s overall health and wellbeing.
Our indoor spaces invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children wonder, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists, and designers.
There’s no need for you to worry about packing lunches or snacks. Nutritious meals and snacks are created daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices. To help you get ready for the busy morning routine let us treat you to a snack and coffee, available to grab and go for our families.
We provide a rotating schedule of engaging specialised programs for your child, including Spanish language, science, music and yoga. These fun and engaging programs enhance the daily program.
Educators and children venture out on regular excursions in our community with visits to nearby business, cafes and parks. Neighbourhood connections support a sense of community and belonging for children and provide opportunities to develop social and observational skills with different people, places, and environments.
As members of our Greenwood community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
