Greenwood Scoresby

See where the extraordinary happens at Greenwood Scoresby. Our child care and early education centre is located in Scoresby, ideal for families in Scoresby, Ferntree Gully, Knoxfield, Ringwood and Wantirna South. You can find us in the Caribbean Park, just off the Eastlink, and a short drive from Stud Park Shopping Centre.

From the moment your family enters our child care centre, you’ll be immersed in a world where children are encouraged to learn and explore.

Our spacious outdoor environments include a cubby house, sandpit, tunnel, vegetable gardens, all-weather play area on the second level and more to engage all the senses. The all-weather play area features a sandpit, cubby house, soccer pitch, room to run around and explore outdoor elements at any time of the year. Children are provided time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoors to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence. Being outside supports children’s overall health and wellbeing.

We love to celebrate our rich and diverse community here at Scoresby. Whether it be a child’s birthday, a new family member, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, special people, or our yearly anniversaries, we enjoy inviting our family community to celebrate, relax and spend time together.

Our kitchen is at the heart of everything we do. Healthy meals and snacks are created daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices. Let us treat you to coffee and a snack as part of your morning routine.

Your child will have access to a rotating schedule of engaging specialised programs, including sport, music, dance, bush kinder, and weekly BBQ’s to build a solid foundation in learning and skill development.

We venture out on regular excursions exploring our local community and explore the beautiful surroundings we are lucky to be a part of within the Caribbean Business Park.

We welcome special guests and community members to the centre based on the children's interests. These include visits from the local swim schools to discuss water safety, responsible pet ownership program to ensure children are showing safe procedures around pets, in particular; dogs, we invite the local library representative to read and tell stories to the children and we welcome families to share with us their own special talents.

Neighbourhood connections support a sense of community and belonging for children and provide opportunities to develop social and observational skills with different people, places, and environments.

Our daily Kindergarten program is taught by James, who is the winner of the 2019 state educator of the year award and always brings engaging learning experiences to life with children.

As members of our Greenwood community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
