Greenwood Frenchs Forest
Your little one will love exploring our purpose-built play spaces with separate areas designed for different age groups. They include cubby houses, slides, sandpits, a rainbow bike track, a water play area and a vegetable garden.
Children are provided time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoors to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence. Being outside supports children’s overall health and wellbeing.
Our indoor spaces invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children wonder, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces including our dedicated art studio, library and yoga room.
Our dedicated studio space invites innovative ways of working with unique materials. Project work enables children to visit and work in the studio space over time with peers, educators, and specialists. Project-based learning promotes the integration of learning areas and skillsets as children problem-solve, think critically, and collaborate with others to design, create and evaluate their ideas.
Our kitchen is at the heart of everything we do. Each morning our in-house chef greets you with fresh coffee and delicious baked goods in our open-plan kitchen. We provide children with nutritious meals and snacks catering for all dietary requirements. Children also enjoy cooking experiences with our centre chef. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices.
Your child will have access to a rotating schedule of engaging specialised programs, including sports, yoga, music and French language programs. These fun and engaging programs enhance the daily program. We welcome special guests and community members to the centre based on the children's interests including dentists and eye specialists to our centre.
Children and educators love to venture out into our local Frenchs Forest community, with excursions to nearby locations including the gym to extend on the children’s learning. Neighbourhood connections support a sense of community and belonging for children and provide opportunities to develop social and observational skills with different people, places, and environments.
As members of our Greenwood community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
