Greenwood Frenchs Forest
Your little one will love exploring our purpose-built play spaces with separate areas designed for different age groups. They include cubby houses, slides, sandpits, a rainbow bike track, a water play area and a vegetable garden.
Children are provided time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoors to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence. Being outside supports children’s overall health and wellbeing.
Our indoor spaces invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children wonder, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces including our dedicated art studio, library and yoga room.
Our dedicated studio space invites innovative ways of working with unique materials. Project work enables children to visit and work in the studio space over time with peers, educators, and specialists. Project-based learning promotes the integration of learning areas and skillsets as children problem-solve, think critically, and collaborate with others to design, create and evaluate their ideas.
Our kitchen is at the heart of everything we do. Each morning our in-house chef greets you with fresh coffee and delicious baked goods in our open-plan kitchen. We provide children with nutritious meals and snacks catering for all dietary requirements. Children also enjoy cooking experiences with our centre chef. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices.
Your child will have access to a rotating schedule of engaging specialised programs, including sports, yoga, music and French language programs. These fun and engaging programs enhance the daily program. We welcome special guests and community members to the centre based on the children's interests including dentists and eye specialists to our centre.
Children and educators love to venture out into our local Frenchs Forest community, with excursions to nearby locations including the gym to extend on the children’s learning. Neighbourhood connections support a sense of community and belonging for children and provide opportunities to develop social and observational skills with different people, places, and environments.
As members of our Greenwood community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.

Scroll through the below to see what a typical day might look like.
Experience a sense of belonging as you are welcomed by our friendly centre teams. On arrival, share information about your child’s specific needs for the day. Our experienced educators will support you and your child with the morning transition from home to centre.
Infants are held in educators’ arms for feeding. Bottle feeding with educators or breastfeeding with Mum provides one-on-one time for connection, talking gently and responding to baby’s cues. Everyday routines provide opportunities to strengthen relationships and build language skills through songs, games, and conversations.
As your child plays, they develop dispositions for learning including curiosity, problem-solving, confidence and resilience. Educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Play-based learning supports all areas of children’s development, including language and motor movement, memory, concentration, emotions, and social relationships.
Experience a sense of satisfaction that your child has enjoyed and benefited from their day at the centre. As you prepare to head home, speak with our friendly educators about your child’s learning and experiences across the day. We look forward to welcoming you back tomorrow.

"Our son has been at greenwood for 5 months and absolutely loves it!! He wakes up wanting to go to daycare. The Centre facilities are fantastic, the director is lovely and the onsite chef caters to my sons anaphylactic allergy so we don’t need to stress. We love the activities - yoga and French. My son has bonded well with the carers and we feel like it’s a very friendly and caring atmosphere. We would highly recommend it!!!!"
"Exceeding expectations in every way! A sparkling new centre with a genuine heart. Laura and the Greenwood team went above and beyond to help transition our family (& several others) after our previous Child Care closed with short notice and we're so glad to have made the change. All the educators are warm and engaging. They provide regular feedback and centre wide communications, plus all the extra little touches keep it personalised. We love our Greenwood family!"
"We could not be happier with this centre! Our son has been attending for nearly one year (since he was 11 months old) and the educators have always gone above and beyond to make all of us feel comfortable and at peace. Staff are amazing, from teachers, to the chef, to the centre manager, they are always ready to listen, adapt and are always very helpful. Thank you heaps to the team for the great work."
